Our training programs include:
Painted Brain is an Approved Training Vendor through CalMHSA’s Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist Certification Program, providing the 80-hour Per Support Certification Training since 2022 when the curriculum was overhauled to meet training requirements and make it simple for students to study for their certification exam.Our revamped curriculum has 17 modules, each corresponding to a different Core Competency to simplify studying.
Peer Services for Justice Involved Specialization Training
Painted Brain’s 40-hour Peer Services for Justice Involved Specialization Training provides additional training that builds on the knowledge, skills, and abilities of Certified Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialists through self-reflection, skill building, practice sessions, and guided group exploration.
