Law & Ethics for Peers

This is a six hour training and will qualify for the biannual six hour requirement in Law and Ethics to maintain the Certified Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist (CMPSS) certification. This training will cover the basics of law and ethics, focusing on guiding ethical principles and relevant laws. While we will dive into some specifics about law and ethics, this training is simply a framework to understand legal and ethical principles.

Tristan was born in Argentina and grew up in Albuquerque, NM and Los Angeles, CA. He has lived with schizophrenia for his entire adult life. Tristan spent 4 years in Patton State Hospital and about ten years living in board and care homes and supportive housing.
